On Wednesday, November 11 Central Public Schools will honor the men and women who have served our country in the armed forces with a Veteran's Day Program. This program features performances by the elementary school students in song, the middle and high school choirs, and the band. Mr. James Ische is the guest speaker for this event, which is always a highlight.
Kiah Kayser, Brian Dvorak, and Chris Lauerman will also speak briefly about their experiences as Girls and Boys State representatives.
This year, Taher Incorporated, our food service provider will also provide a meal for all the veterans and their partners in attendance. Thank you to that organization for recognizing these folks with this show of appreciation. The meal will be held in the foods lab.
Central is proud to be one of the few schools continuing this tradition of honoring our service men and women. This program is open to the public and takes place at 10:00 AM in the gymnasium in the middle/high school building.
