As of today, a great deal of earth has been moved from around the elementary school. Window openings are being cut and the saw used to cut through a foot of solid concrete is quite the apparatus.
If all continues to go well and mother nature cooperates, the crew believes that the majority of the building will be excavated by the end of next week, ahead of schedule. It is very interesting to see what the building looks like with outside walls and corners.
This fall, when the students return, they will be in for a very pleasant surprise.
